Cal Mendoza (they/them), born in Rockville, Maryland, is a hispanic illustrator who lives in Maryland, and New York City. Their passion for the arts started as far back as they can remember being able to hold pencils. They work primarily digitally, through programs such as: Procreate and Photoshop; dabbling in traditional mediums like ink and acrylic paint. They study at School Of Visual Arts in New York City, and are on the way to earning their first Bachelors degree in Art. Their work explores horror and fantasy inspired themes; drawing inspiration from films, video games, tabletop roleplaying games, and animated series.
